Rhinelander Lions donate to Northwoods Hospice Quilters
The quilts, distributed by Ascension Home Care-Hospice Care, a charitable organization that provides comfort and support to people who have six months or less to live, are greatly appreciated by hospice patients and their families, the release states.
The Northwoods Hospice Quilters is funded entirely through donations.
"They do get some of the material donated to them, but they also need to get other supplies such as batting, bigger pieces of material and other materials to complete a quilt," the release states.
