Weyerhauser man sentenced to eight years for Mid Lake Road arson
Clark Krueger also received seven years probation.
He was arrested in the town of Chetek in May of this year.
Woodruff police chief Lenny Drewsen told The Lakeland Times he was relieved when Krueger was arrested.
"It's like a weight off my shoulders," Drewsen said at the time. "Things just didn't line up with his (Krueger's) story. We finally got the confession ... the 'smoking gun' that we needed. It's pretty exciting because we worked hard at it."
Krueger pled guilty to the arson charge in July.
Drewsen also told The Lakeland Times he wanted to attend Krueger's sentencing.
"We had a lot of evidence," he said.
