Getting their start on YouTube, where they currently have more than 10 million views and 110,000 subscribers, the five-person ensemble has enjoyed a steady rise to fame as featured performers in concert halls and at music festivals from coast to coast, according to a press release announcing the Nicolet performance.
Notable venues include Carnegie Hall and the historic Beacon Theatre on Broadway. They've also appeared on television shows such as PopTV & Scary Mommy's "Lullaby League" hosted by Parks and Recreation star, Jim O'Heir, Steve Harvey's daytime show, STEVE!, and Broadway's Kinky Boots.
"The first time I saw a video of them performing, I could immediately sense their masterful vocal abilities, but more so I was wowed by their arrangements," said Nicolet College Theatre Director Jim Nuttall. "I'm not at all surprised that their star is rising. They ooze genuine talent and I'm thrilled we were able to book them at Nicolet."
Their award-winning music is known for infusing heart and humor into every performance and pushes the limits of a cappella by creating impressive covers of past and present pop music, writing inspiring original compositions, and daring to take on unexpected genres such as classical and electronic music, the release states.
