Look for the market mascot in vendor stalls

The little guy is just under 5 inches tall and can be found somewhere, in someone's market stall. Yes, he likes to hide!
Thus, I pose a question to all readers of this column: Do you want to play a little game? As many of you know, the Hodag Farmers' Market has a Facebook page. It's used to update what new things vendors are bringing down to market; showcasing what you missed or just overlooked during the hustle and bustle of day- to-day life. Now all who are friends of our Facebook page have a great reason to slow down, take a look around, and have a chance to win Hodag Farmers' Market Bucks!
As I mentioned before, this little guy likes to hide. He will be hiding each Saturday somewhere in an undisclosed vendor's stall and all you have to do to play along is take a picture of him wherever he's found, without moving him, and post it on our Facebook page. The first person who posts his photo on our page will win some market money. It might be $5 or it might be $10. Regardless, it's funds, that are free and can only be spent at the Hodag Farmers' Market.
Even though it's now September, and summer is pretty much considered over, let's all take this time to slow down, look around, see what hasn't been seen at the market, enjoy the bounty of the season, and have a bit of fun. The market will be at Pioneer Park from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.
