In addition to the sweet treats, approximately 100 vendors gathered at the high school to sell their wares.
The event benefits the Three Lakes Fire Department Auxiliary.
"It's been very popular and successful," auxiliary board member and spokeswoman Mary Babich said of the event.
Some of the more recent purchases the fire department has made using funds raised at Pumpkin Fest include an infrared camera to detect hot spots in a building and two battery-operated jaws of life devices, she said.
"The fire chief (Dave Kirby) was doing a radio interview and he had indicated that this is our 26th year and we've donated over $300,000 to the fire department," Babich said, adding that the department and auxiliary are very grateful for the community's continued support of the event.
Julie Kressin of Appleton has attended Pumpkin Fest three or four times and has always found something to bring home with her.
"There's always something interesting to find," she said.
Erin Samz of Argonne is also a regular visitor to Pumpkin Fest.
This year, her daughter spotted something she wanted - a bow and arrow.
"She spotted it," Samz said. "She got one for her brother."
