The 26th annual Pumpkin Fest will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Three Lakes High School.
The Three Lakes Fire Department Auxiliary (TLFDA) hosts the event which benefits the fire department and various Three Lakes charities.
Inside the school gym, guests will find a wide variety of beautiful jewelry, quilts, furniture, hand-knit gloves, various holiday or seasonal decor and more.
"We have about 100 vendors who (make) arts and crafts and sell their items at the event," said Mary Babich, TLFDA board member and spokeswoman. "We consider our event juried to some extent because we review the items being sold to assure that they are all original and not 'mass produced.'"
Throughout the day the high school will be filled with the mouthwatering scent of fresh-baked cinnamon buns and coffee. These goodies sell out quickly, typically before noon.
Other homemade goods will include soups and chili. There will be chicken dumpling soup, cheesy potato soup, pumpkin soup, and reuben soup - which has vegetables, corned beef and sauerkraut. There will also be burgers, brats, chicken filet and riblet sandwiches.
"We have what we deem the Northwoods biggest bake sale which takes up tables across an entire wall with hundreds of breads, cookies, cakes, even homemade dog biscuits," Babich said. "We have a pie table with hundreds of slices of several varieties such as apple, chocolate, lemon meringue, fruits of the forest and others. We also sell caramel apples and they have been known to sell out as well."
There will also be a raffle, which will feature the Three Lakes Winery wines, an autographed Green Bay Packers football donated by the team, and other items.
Raffle tickets are $2 or six for $10, and there is no need to be present to win.
The auxiliary also sells T-shirts with the event's branding, cookbooks and more.
While the majority of the event is held indoors, there will be a farmers' market outside.
In addition, the Three Lakes eighth graders will be selling cranberries and apples to raise money for a trip to Washington, D.C.
Pumpkin Fest attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable item for the local food pantry.
