Newbold town chairman Dave Kroll, far right, presents the practice basket hole sponsorship to Jackie and Pete Cody in recognition of their time and dedication to making the Newbold Rookery Run Disc Golf Course a reality. The 18-hole course opened for play on Sept. 15. It is located on Ole Lake Road, off Highway 47, seven miles north of Rhinelander. A grand opening ceremony will be held on Oct. 6.
