Ripco Credit Union has a long history of supporting the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry and the business recently continued the tradition with another donation. The credit union recently won first place at the Hanson's Garden Village Scarecrow Contest, with their Harvest Goddess creation, and donated the prize money, $300, to the food pantry. Guy Hansen, RAFP executive director, expressed his appreciation to the credit union and said this is yet another creative way community members have found to support the mission of the food pantry. Together we will continue to help area families in need, he said. Representing the credit union and pictured presenting the donation to Guy Hansen (center of photo) are Ashley Brereton, Lynn Drescher, Stephanie Laska and Colleen Merrill.
