The night consisted of a barbecue dinner, raffles and auctions. At the banquet, the RIA stated that the event has raised more than $65,000 for the organization over the last nine years. Two special presentations were made on Saturday.
PICTURED RIGHT: Holiday Acres owner Kari Zambon presents Rhinelander Ice Arena manager Brett Aylesworth with a check for $1,883. Holiday Acres donates a portion of revenue generated by hosting visiting hockey teams during youth and high school tournaments back to the RIA.
BELOW: Jim and Miriam Buttney draw names for the recipients of The Buttney family scholarship. The scholarships, established last year will cover registration costs for one male and one female youth hockey player enrolled in the RIA.
