Minocqua Aglow's May speaker is back by popular demand. Dr. Doug Gabbert, known as 'The Minister of Health,' will share a two-part message entitled "My People Perish for Lack of Knowledge," organizers said in a press release. This month's program will be held Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m. at the Woodruff Town Hall, 1403-1st Ave (Hwy. 47) in Woodruff. Men and women from teens to seniors are welcome.

There is a $3 door charge and no registration is needed. Fellowship begin at 9:30 a.m.

Part one of Dr. Gabbert's message is "New Insight for Recharging your Health." "Learn what fibromyalgia, Type 2 Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, cancer, dementia, heart disease and more all have in common," the release states. "He'll help us understand the connection between most diseases, and be able to prevent or begin the healing process. Part two of his message is 'New Revelation for a New Move of God According to God's word.' The treasures of darkness are ours for the taking. He'll be sharing how to understand what these treasures are and how to possess them."

Known as the Minister of Health, Dr. Gabbert has a strong ministry background and over 35 years of treating, formulating and consulting in the wellness industry, the release states.

He is an international speaker on a variety of health subjects and a key member of an Olympic Fitness center that focuses on functional strength training.

"In Ministry, Dr. Doug is involved in the biggest church paradigm shift of our time," the release states. "His book, "Why go to Church? - A new answer for a new generation" will be released this summer. His fresh insight on interactive ministry will forever change why we gather together as the church. Dr. Doug credits his wonderful wife, Diana, for their many accomplishments and successes. They have been married for over 37 years and feel extremely blessed to have raised three children who are passing on their rich Christian heritage."
