Ascension Medical Group welcomes women's health specialist
Meyer will be providing women's health and obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) services at Ascension Medical Group Clinic's in Rhinelander and Woodruff, according to an Ascension press release.
He joins Ascension Medical Group after spending more than 10 years as a member of the medical staff at Ascension St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Meyer also served as a staff physician with the United States Air Force.
"My private and personal life have always been a quest to understand the world about me," Meyer said. "As a physician, I am privileged and called to apply that understanding to the health care of my patients and to the responsible sharing of knowledge with others."
In his spare time, Meyer enjoys the outdoors including hiking, fishing and snowshoeing. He is an avid reader who also enjoys music and cooking.
Meyer is joined by Michael Richter MD, Jodi Bentley MD, and nurse practitioners Nancy Bauer, Linda Jerzak, and Rebecca Fix, as Ascension Medical Group clinicians providing women's health services to the Northwoods.
