Faith Explorer students from Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church recently made flowers and caterpillars in class to decorate the tables for Easter breakfast. For the caterpillars, kids cut egg cartons in half and painted them and then added pipe cleaners as antennae. For the flowers, the kids used coffee filters and colored them with markers. They then sprayed water on them to run the colors and then attached those to pipe cleaners and inserted into a cup. Immanuel's Easter breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 1, in the fellowship hall at the church at 21 W. Timber Drive. A free-will offering will be collected with the proceeds going to the youth going on the trip to Houston for the ELCA Youth Gathering in late June.
