NAMI Drop-in Center grand opening set for Thursday
The center is located in the lower level of Trinity Lutheran Church at Stevens and Phillips streets in Rhinelander.
According to a NAMI press release, keynote speakers Robyn Dunahee of Midstate Independent Living and Deborah Jackson, licensed social worker, will discuss the value of drop-in centers for people dealing with mental illnesses. Center members will speak as well.
The grand opening will feature treats and music and tours of the facility. Rhinelander Mayor Dick Johns, Pastor Tim Vadis and Rhinelander Ambassadors will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m..
