The Rhinelander Area Community Band, The Lakeland Barbershop Chorus, The Northwoods Choraliers and The Hymns and Hyrs take the stage for the Community Music Festival at Nicolet College at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18.

"It's sure to be a memorable and harmonious afternoon of music as all four groups will demonstrate their vocal range and creativity in musical selections," Nicolet College stated in a press release. "Each of these groups are comprised with incredibly talented members of the Northwoods community so you might see quite a few familiar faces on stage."

The Community Music Festival allows local audiences to get a glimpse of the talented performers who live right here in the Northwoods.

"Maybe you played an instrument in the past and would love to perform again; or maybe you've always wanted to sing before an audience but never had the chance, here's your chance to get inspired," the press release states. "These groups perform at area festivals, churches and various other venues and are coming together for this enjoyable daytime performance."

"It's amazing how many talented people we have living right here in our community. This forum gives people in the area a chance to experience this talent in one place," says Nicolet College Director of Theatre, Jim Nuttall.

The performance is free of charge. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at Bytes before the performance as well as during intermission.
