Wyss was the top female finisher in the individual half Ironman category, which consisted of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run. She completed all three stages in a time of 4 hours, 59 minutes, 22.45 seconds - beating runnner-up Amy Furhmann of New Holstein by roughly 1 minute, 13 seconds.
Overall 237 athletes completed the half triathlon and Wyss' time was 17th fastest overall.
Wyss is the head volleyball and assistant track coach at Three Lakes High School.
