KIN Youth Program completes library project for food pantry

The Kids Impacting our Neighborhood (KIN) Youth Program recently refurbished the Free Library Box at the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. The Free Library Box had been used at the previous food pantry location, but was in need of fresh paint and new lettering, according to a press release about the project.

The group accepted the challenge and completed the project. The Free Library Box is now installed in front of the food pantry (627 Coon St.) and ready for people to select a book for their very own. In addition to working on the Free Library Box, KINā€ˆalso donated a large box of books to help keep the library well stocked.

Jane Motowski, RAFP general manager, expressed her appreciation for KIN's willingness to accept the challenge and for their hard work to complete it.

Food pantry customers are encouraged to stop by and check out the selection of books now available.
