RBA fifth-grade girls win home tourney
The Hodag fifth-grade girls' team went undefeated in three games and won a points differential tiebreaker over Tomahawk to claim first place in the six-team tourament.
The Hodag fifth-graders started with a 32-13 win over Ashland, beat Merrill 27-11 and knocked off Wittenberg-Birnamwood 24-18.
Rhinelander's sixth-grade team went 1-2 in their division, with their lone win coming in the final game of the day against Ashland Purple (33-18). The Hodags lost to Ashland Gold (26-22) and Hurley (28-20).
