"The lively, musical and comedy performance features hilarious on-the-spot stories, improvised dance moves, and live piano accompaniment in a fun, lighthearted evening of entertainment," according to a Nicolet press release.
"This is an evening packed with improv, comedy antics and musical mayhem. This is one show you won't want to miss," said Nicolet College Theatre Director Jim Nuttall.
The two-part show first features local high school talents performing improv games they learned with Baby Wants Candy earlier that day.
The second section of the show features audience participation with Baby Wants Candy asking people to shout out suggestions for musical titles. That's when the fun takes on a whole new level, the release states.
Baby Wants Candy troupe members completely improvise songs, dance numbers, and ridiculously funny skits to create a one-of-a-kind "musical."
Baby Wants Candy troupe members perform on stages from New York to Los Angeles and Singapore to Scotland and have clocked in over 3,000 live performances and counting.
The group's list of reviews includes "Truly Amazing! Critics Pick!" from the New York Times, "Best Comedy in Chicago" from Chicago Magazine, and "Chicago's Most Consistently Funny and Crowd-Pleasing Show" by the Chicago Sun Times.
Baby Wants Candy will perform on at 7:30 p.m. March 17.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at nicoletlive.com, or by calling (715) 365-4646. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at Bytes before the performance as well as during intermission.
