Hoops: Hodag fifth graders win tourney
The Hodags went 3-0 on the day, defeating Iola-Scandinavia (42-32), Lakeland (40-3) and Wausau Newman (42-4).
The RBA sixth-grade boys' basketball team was also on hand and placed third in its division with a 2-1 record. Rhinelander was edged in a two-point game, 36-34, by tournament champion Medford Red. The Hodags defeated Lakeland (59-20) and Medford White (43-11).
