Eric Jackson to speak at February meeting of Minocqua Aglow group
The guest speaker this month will be Pastor Eric Jackson of Lakeland Assembly in Woodruff. The program will be held at the Woodruff Community Center, 1418-1st Avenue S (Hwy 47.) There is a $3 door charge. Coffee and fellowship begins at 9:30 a.m. No registration is required to attend the program, and all are welcome to attend and to bring guests, organizers said in a press release.
"Pastor Eric has a heart to see God's people seek His face and turn back to Him," the release states. "His message entitled 'What Do You Want?' will challenge those in attendance with questions such as, 'What do you do with your desires as a Christian? Do you assume that God is going to give you whatever you want, or do you despise your desires and pray that you don't have them anymore? He will be teaching on how to have a healthy and Biblical view of your desires, and how that can strengthen your walk with God. Although his positions in ministry have varied, Pastor Eric's passion has always remained the same - to lead people into a deeper relationship with the Lord. He has spent time as a Youth and Children's Ministry Director, Worship Leader, Associate Pastor, and is now blessed to be the Lead Pastor of Lakeland Assembly."
