Demmer Library to host book signing event with Teresa Cleary Dec. 8
Cleary will sign her book "Going Golfing" from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 8 at the library's storefront location at 1808 Superior Street in Three Lakes.
The book is about a little girl and her view of golfing with her father and then her grandmother, according to a Demmer press release. The story shows that father hits longer, but grandma hits straighter. Cleary wanted to write a children's book for many years but struggled coming up with a unique idea, the release states. It was her passion for golf and it's inclusiveness that gave her the idea for the book.
Cleary grew up in Phelps and now lives in Sugar Camp. She is in her 20th year as a paraprofessional in the Three Lakes Middle and High School library.
Copies of her book can be purchased online at amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com or by emailing Teresa at goinggolfingbook@gmail. They will also be available the day of the book signing.
