Hodag alum offering 'Night of Music' Aug. 16
According to a press release announcing the performance, Bartelt has an opportunity to participate in a European Choral Tour with her collegiate choir to Spain and Portugal. The group is expected to perform in both the large concert choir as well as the small chamber choir, the release states. The trip is expected to cost about $3,500 "and with school and general costs of being a new adult, this local Hodag is looking for some new ways to raise funds to participate in the Spring Tour," the release states.
Going into her sophomore year at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Bartelt is majoring in Vocal Performance and decided to use some of her talents to help her with this trip.
The public is invited to Northwood Golf Club (on U.S. Highway 8) on Aug. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. and enjoy some great music featuring Bartelt, Scott Kirby and Aaron Sauter.
Part of the night's proceeds will go towards Bartelt's trip and donation options will be available throughout the night.
