Young leaders honored at 2018 Teen Character Awards Banquet
The evening was filled with inspiration and promise as 27 exceptional young men and women from Oneida, Vilas, Forest, and Lincoln counties were honored, YMCA officials said in a press release.
"The recipients of this award are living examples of strong moral character, leadership, and service," the release states. "They are dedicated to strengthening their families, schools and communities. We are proud of the 2018 honorees and look forward to seeing them shine as they move forward with their journeys."
The 2018 honorees are: Brighid Billing (Lakeland), Darlaina Boyd (Crandon), Cami Buchmann (Rhinelander), Rachel Burns (Lakeland), Daisy Campbell (Three Lakes), Sage Flory (James Williams Middle School), Cassandra Gauthier (Northland Pines), Kaylynn Haapala (Phelps), Caitlin Harris (Rhinelander), Grace Heck (Rhinelander), Sami Huelskamp (Northland Pines), Carmen Ibarra (Crandon), Levi King (Home school), Anthony Klabunde (Rhinelander), Colton Krueger (Rhinelander), Malcolm McCamles (Northland Pines), Alex Metzger (Three Lakes), Kane Parnewicz (Northland Pines), Shandi Peitsch (Rhinelander), Angela Pientenpol (Phelps), Dane Ratliff (Three Lakes), Nolan Rosner (Phelps), Marti Rudawski (Phelps), Jennifer Shopodock (Wabeno), Blake Weber (Crandon), Charlie Willms (Lakeland), and Aviana Woller (Tomahawk).
