The Northern Arts Council selected officers for the coming year at its annual meeting March 8 naming (from left, seated) Jaron Childs, vice-president; Julie Bronson, president; Tom Winquist, treasurer; and Dan Boardman, secretary. Board members and staff include, from left, standing, Diane DeiRossi, Linda Davidson, LeeAnnette Schmidmayr, Susy Rein, Joan Trythall, Tara Vandenberg, Gale Willcox, Torrey Youngstrum, Katy Ralph, Sandy Madden and Betty Lidral. The council co-sponsors the Northern National Art Competition with Nicolet College, sponsors the Emerging Artist Grant program, and distributes some $17,000 in grants annually to Northwoods art and performance art programs.
