The water is a hazard golfers normally try to avoid, but members of the Rhinelander High School golf team were intentionally sending balls to a watery grave Tuesday, April 10.

The team practiced at the Heck Family Community Pool inside RHS and worked on their short game, chipping floatable whiffle balls toward floating rings inside the pool that were used as targets.

The team's two scheduled meets for this week - today at Marshfield and Saturday at Medford - have officially been canceled.
