Rhinelander woman celebrates 100th birthday
She married Elmer "Bud" Johnson in 1941. They have four daughters, Mary Ellen and Tom DeValk, Peg and Bill Bradburn, Pat and Gei Eisenach, and Carol and Bill Bruyette. She also has nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
On Saturday, March 24, a dinner was held in her honor for family and friends, at the Claridge - Days Inn, where she was presented with an album of congratulatory letters from her favorite teams, the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, along with letters from the past-living United States presidents.
