"It was a great day for the dogs," exclaimed Carol Lofquist, co-organizer of the event and owner of TLC Dog Training. "Congratulations to all the winners and participants, we will see you next year."
Lauren Hjelsand and her spaniel Max, enjoyed the event.
"He jumped really well this year, he's been training a lot," she said of her dog's dock diving skills.
They also tried agility and fastest dog in the Northwoods.
"It's a really fun event, I'm glad it happened so close to home and that we can just take our dogs and have fun," Hjelsand said. "It's great to have stuff like this that you can take your dog to because people are so close to their dogs."
Erika Lintereur, her corgi Peedi, and Deutscher Wachtelhund, Weda, also enjoyed the event.
"I love it, this is a lot of fun," she said with a smile.
She and Peedi were working on agility but with the constant wet weather she decided not to compete in that category this year. However, both dogs had a blast with the radar run.
TLC Dog Training and Dick's Doghouse in Minocqua hosted the event.
