Jacob DeMeyer was named a first-teamer as both a pitcher and an outfielder for the Rebels. He was joined on the first team by infielders Easton Senoraske and Brad Comer.
Outfielders Brad Quade and Josh Randolph received second-team honors for Rhinelander, as did Kurt Zuiker as a utility player.
DeMeyer was a unanimous choice as a first-team pitcher, along with Mosinee's Zach Bednar. DeMeyer went 2-0 in league play for the GNLC-champion Rebels with a 1.00 ERA. He led the conference with 21 innings pitched and his 29 strikeouts were second in the lead. Additionally, DeMeyer led the GNLC with a .656 batting average and eight stolen bases in conference play.
Comer and Senoraske made up the left of the Rebels infield most of the summer. Comer with .375 and led the GNLC with two homers and 14 RBIs. Senoraske hit .257 in conference play with six RBIs.
Quade batted .500 in conference play, tied for fifth among eligible batters. Randolph's eight RBIs in the GNLC were tied for eighth-best. Zuiker, who played all three outfield positions at times during the summer, hit .316 in the GNLC with seven RBIs.
The Rebels went 10-2 in league play to capture the conference title by a game over Mosinee. Rhinelander has won both conference championship's in the GNLC's brief two-year history.
Rhinelander went 20-5 overall this summer, losing in the regional championship game by a run to eventual state Class AA runner-up Antigo.
