The Hodags finished second in the girls' division and third in the boys' division of the five-team meet.
JWMS placed its top seven girls all in the top 20 of Tuesday's race to finish behind only Minocqua/
Hazelhurst/Lake Tomahawk in the team standings.
Grace Kern paces the JWMS girls, with a seventh-place finish, covering the three-kilometer course in 14 minutes, 26.6 seconds.
Megan Brown was 11th for the Hodags (14:47.1), Sage Flory finished 13th (15:07.3), Genna Fugle was 14th (15:14.4), Eva Hetland was 16th, (15:17.0), Juliana Smith was 18th (15:32.7) and Brynn Brzycki was 20th (15:48.1).
Sixth-grader Will Gretzinger led the JWMS boys, finishing fourth overall in a time of 12:43.2. Jett Biolo was 11th (14:02.3), Jack DeNamur finished 14th (14:48.5), Mason Baker was 19th (15:18.1), Kadin Christianson was 20th (15:24.8), Zachariah King finished 27th (16:03.5) and Cody Everson rounded out the Hodags' scoring with at 30th-place finish (16:52.6).
