The Rhinelander Seventh Day Adventist Thrift Shop at 18 Rives St. in Rhinelander recently donated $1,000 to the Oneida County Humane Society. The Humane Society animal shelter is a no-kill facility. At present, there are 20 dogs, 60 cats and one rabbit in need of good homes. The Seventh Day Adventist Thrift Shop uses the money from the sale of good used clothing and other donated items to help in the community. Money is used for various organizations in Rhinelander and clothing is given to those in need. The Seventh Day Adventist Thrift Shop accepts only good, clean, used items.
