"Even though this is the eighth Soup for Shelter in Rhinelander the community continues to enjoy the event," said Tammy Modic, executive director of NATH/Frederick Place. "It is a relaxed environment where people can get some great soups as well as support NATH/Frederick Place."
Friendship House brought chicken noodle soup, Crimson Café offered tomato basil soup, Coffee Beans served its Three Sisters soup, CT's Deli provided cream chicken with wild rice, R & T's Dinky Diner served chili and Brown Street 151 provided French Onion soup.
Rolls were donated by Mad Batter Bakery.
"The soups were again a huge success," Modic said. "The majority of the soup was all gone. They were either (eaten) at the event or purchased to take home."
