Brekke's Fireside Resort a finalist for second consecutive year in Wisconsin Lodging Directory cover contest
Every year the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association calls for lodging members from across the state to enter photos that showcase the excitement and beauty that Wisconsin Lodging has to offer, the release states. The winning photo is featured on the cover of the Wisconsin Lodging Directory for the upcoming year.
After the first round of judging, Brekke's Fireside Resort was named a finalist. Brekke's Fireside Resort is the only finalist in Oneida County competing against lodgers from areas like Lake Geneva, Green Bay and Milwaukee.
"We are so excited that Brekke's has made it to the finals of a statewide contest for the second year in a row," said Dan Brekke, owner of Brekke's Fireside Resort. "After a close second place last year, we hope the Northwoods can give us just a few more votes to put us over the top."
Anyone can vote for Brekke's Fireside Resort to be the cover of the 2018 Wisconsin Lodging Directory by visiting www.wisconsinlodging.org/covercontest. Voting ends at 11:59 pm CDT on Wednesday, May 17.
Brekke's has been a family owned and operated resort for over 45 years. The resort features lakeside cottages in a peaceful bay of Lake George, three miles east of Rhinelander.
