Ruckheim named community development director at YMCA of the Northwoods
"She has shown dedication to our Y over the past six years and we are confident she will bring that commitment to this newly created position," CFO Toni Jaskowiak said in a press release announcing the promotion.
Ruckheim, a local graduate from Laona, earned her business degree from UW- Green Bay and furthered her education at UW-Stout with a management degree.
She later found a passion for fitness and continued her education by obtaining her ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer certification, according to the press release.
In 2011, Ruckheim joined the Y as a wellness coach/personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
In 2015, she was promoted to the wellness director. As wellness director, she has made strong relationships with not only our members but with community leaders and local businesses as well by taking her passion for healthy living to their organizations and their employees, the release states.
"As the Community Development Director, I am ready to move the YMCA of the Northwoods to the next level of community awareness and collaboration in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility," she said.
