YMCA announces Chase the Hodag Fun Run Creative Art Contest
Contestants should design and create a picture that represents the Y, running, kids, and Hodags, according to a YMCA press release. Artwork should be turned in to the Y on an 8 1/2-by-11-inch piece of paper by May 19.
"Use your imagination, creativity is encouraged! The winning artwork will be featured on the 2017 Chase T-shirts," the release states. The artist will be announced and appear on NewsWatch 12, Y Watch. The Chase the Hodag Kids Run will take place on Saturday, June 2 at Hodag Park in Rhinelander in conjunction with the Hodag Run For Your Life! Event sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander.
