Bonnie was a fulltime stay-at-home mom, raising five kids while, working part time. She endlessly doted on her kids, celebrating birthdays, and attending any of her kids special events; all while making time for dinner at the table and making cookies for the cookie jar.
Bonnie's hobbies included gardening in both flower and vegetable gardens, playing bingo, and going to various casinos to play the slots. Traveling was her passion, which her dad loved also. Bonnie loved listening to Elvis Presley and the bluegrass gospel music her husband brought into her life with his guitar playing. Bonnie also loved baking, cooking, sewing, and crafting. She also loved when her family would come together, especially at the holidays.
Survivors include her sister, Sherry Hanson-Miller of Appleton; brother, Tom (Doris) Dunbar of Baraboo; sister, Bev of Hastings, Minn.; brother, Rodge (Sherry) Gundlach of Ripon, Wis., and sister, Ranee (Mike) Sardina of Rochelle, Ill.; her five children, Marilyn (Randy) Towne of Rhinelander, Randy (Dana) Culton of Sycamore, Ill., Rob (Kerri) Culton of Genoa, Ill., Shelly (Dean) Schmidt of La Crosse, and Lori (April) Bixby of La Crosse; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eleanor; sister, Sandy; and her husband, Harry.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Days Inn (formerly Claridge Motor Inn) 70 N. Stevens St., Rhinelander.
