Twenty-four of the league's 31 teams participated in the double-elimination tournament. It was a double elimination format with a second chance tourney. The second chance tourney was single elimination for teams that lost two out of their first three matches.
Woodpecker won the tournament for the third year in a row, defeating Rocky's 2 in a pair of race to five matches, 5-2, 5-2, to take the championship. Team members include Bruce Gruening, Mark Siech, Gary Vozka, Dave Swett, Curt Keso and Don Ebert. Third place went to Flyin Finn. Twin Pines 1 finished fourth. Taj Mahall 2 defeated Brokers 4 to win the second-chance tournament.
"We would like to thank all the sponsors that had matches at their bars and especially Sammy Jrs. where the finals of the tourney were held on Sunday," the Rhinelander Men's Pool League said. "Again thanks to all the teams for a good tournament and (we) hope everyone had a good time."
