Approximately 50 to 60 vendors covering anything from heating and cooling, docks, builders, electrical companies, roofing, financial advice, lifestyle and more will be under one roof.
"For many, many years we have been the first Home Show in the Northwoods and we are happy to bring the show back year after year," said Lauren Sackett, tourism and events coordinator at the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.
This event typically sees high foot traffic, but fluctuates due to the unpredictable weather this time of year. Many people who attend either have a project in mind and know exactly what they are looking for, are trying to get ideas, or are just browsing for the fun of it.
"Because this is an early spring event, we know that attendance can be affected by our Northwoods weather," she said. "Usually we see 2,000 to 3,000 people at our event."
Planning and coming up with ideas can work up an appetite, and the local AmVets Post 724 will be there to satisfy that need.
They will be serving burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork and more, and will have water, coffee and soda to drink.
For dessert people can wander over to the Girl Scout troop's cookie booth.
The Hodag Home & Lifestyle Show is an important event for the community, as it brings people together.
"The purpose of a Chamber is to help the community we are a part of and our members grow," Sackett said. "The Hodag Home & Lifestyle show is the perfect event to help us do that. We are bringing our Chamber Members and other local businesses together with the public."
Sackett appreciates the sponsors of the event and is excited for it to get underway. This year's sponsors are WJFW Newswatch 12, AA Seamless and Rhinelander Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
"We are really looking forward to a fantastic event for all of our exhibitors and attendees," she said.
