"Passengers ride on the vintage passenger cars or in a caboose that will harken them back to a time when travel was by train," the release states. "Visitors will be entertained and enjoy an educational experience. The Camp 5 Logging Museum gives the visitor an opportunity to view the old-time logging techniques that helped build a nation. This includes an authentic vintage blacksmith shop that will be working. A trip on the Green Treasure Forest Tour takes you through a working, managed forest. The Cracker Barrel Gift Store not only has unique gifts and books, plus some delicious fudge and candies. The Petting Zoo is a favorite of the kids. All of this fun and learning builds appetites, and the open-air Choo Choo Hut restaurant will be open to satisfy your appetite. Try the ice cream! The corn maze has been planted, so if you visit later in the summer you can find your way through the maze, or you can photograph the maze from your drone, if you bring it. Each year, the Cowboys visit. These men and women are wearing vintage clothing from different walks of life from over a hundred years ago, and they will be riding beautiful horses with vintage gear and guns. They will be robbing the Lumberjack Steam Train on every run, so hide your jewelry! Watch for the Cowboys on July 15 this summer and Sept. 30 during Fall Festival."
The train runs Monday through Saturday every hour between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There are no runs on Sunday, and the last run of the summer will be Aug. 19.
The Fall Festival begins on Sept. 2, and runs on Sept. 9, 16, 23, and 30.
