Ripco Credit Union supports Rhinelander Fourth of July Parade
Colleen Merrill, who was recently promoted to the position of director of member services at Ripco, recently presented a check for $800 to the Leathernecks of the North.
The check was accepted by Dale Schlieve, parade organizer, and will be used to sponsor the Seymour High School Marching Band's performance at this year's event.
"We are so happy to sponsor the talented musicians from Seymour this year," Diane Sowinski, vice president of marketing and business development, said in a press release. "Marching bands are the heart of any parade, and we're glad we can help bring this band to Rhinelander."
The 2017 parade will be held on Tuesday, July 4 starting at 11 a.m.
The parade route return to Brown Street, since the majority of the streetscape road construction has been completed.
The theme of this year's parade is "America: Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly."
