Life-Sized Games
The library will host "over-sized" outdoor games and activities on Wednesday, June 21 from 2 to 3 p.m. This program is for children entering grades 1 to 5. Registration is required and can be done by stopping by the children's department or calling 715-365-1070 ext. 2.
Building & Fun
Children ages 2 to those entering kindergarten are invited to the library for fun building activities on Thursday, June 22 from to 10 to 11 a.m. Registration is required and can be done by stopping by the children's department or calling 715-365-1070 ext. 2.
Nature's Architects
Licia Johnson, naturalist from the Lakeland Discovery Center in Manitowish Waters, will present both an educational and fun look at various animal habitats. There will be four 45- minute programs beginning at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26. Registration is required and can be done by stopping in the children's department or by calling 715-365-1070 ext. 2.
Preschool Programs
Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library on Thursday, June 15. A 20-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 1/2 who are accompanied by an adult will begin at 10 a.m. in the children's department.
A 40-minute Story Time program for children age 3 1/2 to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.
Baby Storytime is on break until Monday, July 10.
