The Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association met recently in Wisconsin Rapids for a County Conservationist meeting. At that gathering, Dr. Tom Rudolph, who served 20 years on the Oneida County Board of Supervisors, was recognized by WLWCA Executive Director Jim VandenBrook for his many decades of service to conservation in the state of Wisconsin.

Dr. Rudolph, who earned his doctorate in Forestry and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota, held local, state, and national conservation positions and served the conservation and forestry field for over 40 years. In 2007, the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association awarded the Wisconsin Supervisor of the Year Award to Dr. Rudolph and recently the pavilion at Oneida County's Almon Park was dedicated to Dr. Rudolph.
