Northwoods Petroleum Museum Car Show in Three Lakes Aug. 5

Last year 200 vehicles were display including convertibles, Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, rat rods, street rods, foreign cars, trucks, classic boats, various styles of motorcycles and more.

This is the fourth year boats have been included in the show and the second year for motorcycles.
"The show is a big attraction since it is easy to find, right on the highway and cars park on grass," said Ed Jacobsen, owner. "The museum provides a great backdrop."
Jacobsen expects 1,500 spectators and admission is free.
Those who work up an appetite should meander over to where the Eagle River Masonic Lodge where tasty food and drinks will be available.
Music from the '50s and '60s will be played under the big tent.
Anyone interested in registering their vehicle, boat or motorcycle will need to bring it the day of the show between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
There is no pre-registration.
Vehicle registration is $14, however those who register receive a $20 gift certificate to the Three Lakes Winery.
