Rhinelander Lions Club donates to Personal Essentials Pantry, Camp Birchrock
PEP workers observed Barb Ostreicher accepting the donation presented by Lion member Janice Scheeler.
The Personal Essentials Pantry (PEP) assists low income community members with the essentials for personal and household care. The Personal Essentials Pantry is open on the second Monday of each month from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., and the last Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon at the First Methodist Church in Rhinelander located on Arbutus Street.
The Lions Club also supports Camp Birchrock.
Camp Birchrock/Campfire USA of Oneida County was the recipient of The Rhinelander Lions Club's yearly $500 contribution. The mission of the Campfire USA program is to build caring, confident youth and has been serving the Northwoods since 1914. Even after 100 plus years, this nationwide program continues to seek out, implement and expand programming that responds to the changing needs of our children and communities.
