The Calm before the Hodag
Although campers have been filtering into the Hodag Country Festival grounds all week, last-minute preparations for the 40th annual country music extravaganza kicked into high gear Wednesday morning. Technical teams started hanging the sound and lighting rigs on the stage while many food vendors opened to serve those hearty souls awaiting the annual chair line. Those staying in the camping area are keeping busy while waiting for the mainstage entertainment, which gets underway today, to begin.
