A grant has been received from the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs which will be used to provide disabled veterans and their families a way to attend the Veterans Ceremony in Harshaw on the Saturday before Memorial Day. The monies will be used to provide transportation for the disabled and homebound. There will be two pick-up and drop-off locations, one in Tomahawk and Rhinelander. After the ceremony there will be a free luncheon at the Cassian Town Hall. The grant will also be used to have an ADA compliant portable restroom at the cemetery, two pop-up canopies, and to pay for advertising. The grant will also be used to ensure future veterans who will be buried at the cemetery will have a Legacy Stone. Pictured, from left to righ,t are Gov.
