A group of soccer players with ties to the Rhinelander High School soccer program took first place in the adult division of the Eastbay 3-on-3 soccer tournament Jan. 8 at Greenheck Fieldhouse in Schofield.

Pictured, from left to right, are Mitchel Modic, Richard Kotula, Mike Messerli and Alex Barnes.

Modic and Messerli are former RHS soccer players and Kotula is a longtime assistant coach for both the RHS boys' and girls' soccer programs.
