WXPR to host 'The Voice' finalist Joshua Davis Saturday, Jan. 14
Recent finalist on NBC's hit musical showcase "The Voice" and former band member in the bands Steppin' In It, Shout Sister Shout and Starlight Six, Davis breathes life into timeless folk music with his raw, organic edge, the station said in a press release.
Rooted in the folk tradition, he writes songs that blend the roots of American music with gritty rock n' roll and vintage soul. Performing Songwriter Magazine called the result "some of the liveliest and most rocking roots music around."
