A long-standing Rhinelander High School boys' swim team tradition, which hasn't taken place in 16 years, was revisited Monday during practice at the Heck Family Community Pool.

It is customary for a new record holder in an event to take down the name and time of the record he broke. During Saturday's WIAA Division 2 sectional in Stevens Point, sophomore Nolan Francis set a new school record in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a time of 1 minutes, 59.89 seconds, eclipsing the old mark of 2:03.75 set by James Galles in 1996.

Pictured, Francis' holds the sign indicating Galles' old record. The record board will be changed to reflect Francis' new mark shortly.
