The Northwoods United Way recently accepted a $1,567.19 contribution from Community Connect, LLC. Pictured, from left to right, are Nancy Sattler, executive director, Northwoods United Way and Stacey Jameson, Director, Community Connect, LLC. "Community Connect, LLC has been a supporter of the Northwoods United Way, and we were very happy to see that proceeds from the recent Legionnaires Mud Challenge were allocated back to our communities," stated Sattler. "This check will help us achieve our 2017 Fundraising Goal." The Legionnaires Mud Challenge was held on July 1, 2017 at the Crandon International Raceway. "It was a great day running in the mud! We were pleased to see so many athletes come out and try the obstacle course," stated Sattler. The Northwoods United Way works to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks for a quality life: health, income and education. It serves community members in Vilas, Oneida and Forest counties. Currently, the Northwoods United Way provides funding to 26 agencies throughout the three counties. For more information about the Northwoods United Way, or the agencies it supports, contact Sattler at [email protected]. Donations can also be sent to PO Box 177, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
