Car Hop
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rhinelander held its annual Car Hop on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the church. More than 100 orders were taken during the 3 1/2-hour event that was used to raise money for the youth of the church and more than $1,600 was earned. Many of the youth are planning for a trip to the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston in June 2018 and that money will go towards that. Some of the youth also put their earnings toward a donation to the Oneida County Humane Society. At left, Mariah McCue collects money on a car hop order during the Immanuel Car Hop on Saturday.
